The Minimum Intervention Unit 2 (UMI 2) is included in “C2 - 33 - Detailed Plan via Mattuglie”. The area of the Plan is between two important roads, the via Castellana and the via Miranese, and is also situated near the "Miranese" exit of the Mestre ring road. The urban access road is given by the streets via Mattuglie to the north, via Perlan to the west, via rio Cimetto to the south and via Calucci to the east and other secondary side streets that gravitate around the affected area.
As for public services, the area is currently well served by public transport, by schools, from maternal to high school, as well as sports facilities (swimming pool, football, basketball, gym, etc.).

The buildings included in the Plan, and therefore also the UMI 2, will be served by a new district gas-heating plant.
